RMF Products Products

We started RMF Products as a part time business in 1969.    Two years later sales justified building our own building.  Our products were several dissolve controls for 2 slide projectors.  These items were sold under our own name as well as for Spiratone, a large NY photography dealer and Buhl Optical, a lens manufacturer.

The dissolve controls evolved from a simple 2 projector, manual system, to a completely computerized system capable of running 50 projectors.  These larger systems were used in permanent presentations in museums, trade shows and other exhibits.

RMF also designed and sold the first digital darkroom timer.  It was also made for Leedal, a darkroom equipment distributor.

Kodak projector accessories followed with timers, remote controls, a complete line of molded projector cables and other unique accessories.

In the 1980's one of the first laser pointers was sold, which was the size of a large flashlight.    When laser diodes became available, small pen size pointers were distributed.   Various gun sights using a laser were also sold.

Seeing a need for a system to aid in the judging of camera club photo exhibitions, RMF designed several judging systems.    Current systems are fully computerized and are in use all over the world.

We still sell small bezel and filter assemblies for digital displays, items we created over 40 years ago.
